There is currently radio silence at Jerez where four of the five manufacturers involved in MotoGP are testing while the Grand Prix of the Americas will take place this weekend in Austin. But fortunately, there is Stefan Bradl, Honda test driver who has the strategic mission of evaluating the famous Kalex chassis which could be sent to Texas if it is satisfactory. Dani Pedrosa is the test driver KTM who will do as a guest the Spanish Grand Prix planned for the end of April on the same route of Jerez. The three-time MotoGP world vice-champion and 31-time winner in the category is therefore no longer a regular rider, but he seems willing to approach his home deadline as such...

We thus read from Stefan bradl on speedweek : " what strikes me is that Dani is preparing very intensely for the World Championship race ". The pilot Honda adds: “ maybe it's not the best for a manufacturer like KTM to have such a star as a test rider who really wants to shine in their wild card appearance ».
Dani Pedrosa will discover the intensity of the new format implemented in MotoGP and he takes the deadline with the greatest seriousness. Which probably explains the fact that he declined the mission of playing freelance for a Pol Espargaro injured at GASGAS both in Austin and Jerez… Where he will wear the official colors KTM.
