This Sunday, February 13, 2022, Álex Márquez answered questions from journalists from the Mandalika circuit in Indonesia, at the end of the three days of IRTA testing on this new circuit located on the island of Lombok.
We went to listen (via teleconferencing software) to the words of the Spanish driver, who finished these last official tests in 14th place.

Álex, how did this last day of testing in Mandalika go?
« I am very happy. We did an incredible job with the team again today. The team really did a great job throughout the preseason. She remained very focused, despite the fact that she had to make changes to the bike a good hundred times! For my part it was a good day because I was able to do a few time attacks to start, and then I moved on to slightly longer runs. I'm physically tired after these last three days which were added to the tests which took place in Malaysia, but the sensations are good. We have a good level of performance and we should go to Qatar ready, which is the most important thing. We will try to analyze everything well now, so that we have everything under control during the first round. »
