We thus learn from Doha that since this Friday morning, all members of the paddock can be vaccinated against Covid-19 with the Biontech vaccine. The Qatari government in Doha has in fact announced that all members of the paddock MotoGP can be vaccinated with the Biontech-Pfizer vaccine. There will be no compulsory vaccination. Injections are given on a voluntary basis only. World Championship teams Moto3 et Moto2, who will test on the Losail circuit in Qatar 17 at 19 March, can also be vaccinated upon their arrival in Doha if they wish. The two Grand Prix are scheduled for March 28 and 4th April.

Dorna, the team association IRTA and the world federation END thanked the government of Qatar for this "incredible opportunity that will reduce the health risk of all team members and drivers ".

However, Dorna precise : " we keep the “bubble” because it will take a few days for the antibodies to form. And only after 21 days is the second dose administered. But the advantage is that by the time of the European races, as many of the approximately 1 team members as possible will be immunized against Covid-300 ". Currently, the teams are all spread across just four hotels to minimize the risk of infection.
