It's off again for a "shakedown" at Sepang in the style of a big dress rehearsal for the real tests which will begin on February 7 with the tenors. However, we know that there is already some beautiful laundry on the Malaysian runway. A torrid atmosphere which puts the organisms to the test since the temperature on the track approaches 47°… A heat which does not cool the ardor of the KTM clan. Thus, Dani Pedrosa and Pol Espargaró drive under two minutes per lap. On the Yamaha side, Jorge Lorenzo promised that he would take to the track, but we are still waiting for him at midday…
The KTM are in good shape with a double of the official drivers led by the one who takes care of the tests, Dani Pedrosa. Miguel Oliveira is fourth with the machine Tech3 so good that it is álex Márquez, the beginner with his Sling, which avoids the Austrian hat-trick. It will be remembered that the latter will not be on the last day of the exercise. The brother of whom you know will, however, be in Jakarta for the official Repsol Honda presentation.
Pirro closes the top 5 at Stefan Bradl on a Honda with modified aerodynamics, while Brad Binder follows with his RC16. Guintoli and his Suzuki is eighth ahead of Aprilia Bradley Smith. Iker Lecuona is penultimate and Lorenzo Savadori brings up the rear.
