The last of the three days of testing that MotoGP set up at Sepang in preparation for its 2023 season began with a wet track. The first to set off was Johann Zarco who completed three laps, then the Malaysian sun did its work by making the moisture stains disappear. At lunchtime in these latitudes, it's Jorge Martin who leads the way. The Spaniard obviously wants to make an impression from the start.

George Martin therefore remains intractable in this Sepang test. The pilot Ducati Pramac finished second on the first day, then led the following day and despite a sore hand following a fall on Saturday, he seems well on his way to also topping the timesheets on Sunday. It is ahead at the time of writing these lines Aleix Espargaró, who regained the sense of walking after a failed Saturday, Bezzecchi, his equip Casa Particular in Viñales et Marini.

At midday in Sepang, Quartararo and Zarco are out of the top 10

Marc Marquez is sixth, ahead of Raul fernandez which seems to have regained all its verve with the Aprilia. Bastianini, Pol Espargaró et Olive tree close the top 10 to the World Champion bagnaia. On the French side, Quarterly is twelfth and zarco fourteenth.

In the stands, we note that Marc Marquez only has two RC213Vs left at its disposal, these two Hondas being equipped with the same fairing. For his part, Pol Espargaro tests the new aerodynamics of the RC16 with the diffusers. The end of hostilities will be told to you at midday.
