MotoGP Test Thailand Day 2, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati/9) exhausted: "These test days have been the hardest of my life"

In Thailand, during these crucial pre-season tests, Fabio Di Giannantonio did not pretend“Diggia” relentlessly tested parts, again and again, until he found a setup that allowed him to set the ninth fastest time at the end of the second day. These few days have been positive for the Italian, who would like to become the dark horse of the upcoming season, much like Alex Marquez in 2025. Di Giannantonio also knows that testing is nothing like racing, so there's no need to get carried away.

The press encountered a man who was more tired than happy at the end of these two tough days in Buriram. « The test days were incredibly long! The Buriram races were the most difficult of my life, because I tried so many things. But I'm very happy with them, because we worked really well with the team; We accomplished everything we had in mind, according to the plan. » he declared.

 

 

He insists that he did not try to push to the maximum. « In terms of speed, this wasn't our best test, because, by trying so many things, it was difficult to find the perfect lap and rhythm.But I'm happy with the basic setup for the first race; it seems the final setup will be the same as at Sepang. and that's a big step forward » he added.

Di Giannantonio, after a 2025 season that wasn't disappointing but not incredible either, hopes to make a lasting impression. In any case, he has a clear idea of ​​what awaits him at the handlebars of the Desmosedici GP26. « We are approaching the first race calmly, we are confident and the atmosphere within the team is excellentI am fully convinced that we can do a good job with the package we have. We're ready for the season! » he concluded.
