Jack Miller

Jack Miller was not sorry to end this 2021 MotoGP exercise in Jerez since this epilogue gave him his ticket back to his native Australia. He still kept a little of his concentration to work on the technical orientations for 2022. We will recall that he is part of a Ducati clan which seems able to take control of the category, much to the chagrin competition…

Jack Miller is the teammate of Pecco Bagnaia and during the two days of tests carried out at Jerez as he began the offseason, he was never able to get close on the clock. A difference in pace on which the one who had to settle for fourth place in the championship, but with two victories, does not dwell on when making the last assessment of the year when coming down from his Ducati.

On the other hand, he recalls the general situation, to better hurt the competition: “ at the end of the season, we were already difficult to beat with Pecco. The other Ducati riders were also still at the front. If we can make even more improvements, then we have a good chance of fighting for the title again », Declared Miller.

His goal for next season will be to ride more regularly. Four times this year he had to regret a blank result. In fact, he was unable to intervene in the fight for the world champion title between fabio quartararo et bagnaia. He even finished off a final podium, the last step of which went to the Suzuki official Joan mir, which has no success.

Jack Miller: “ I guess the engineers have more in the pipeline«

« When you test you always get positive, but also negative information » adds “Jackass”. “ We now need to take a closer look at this and come up with a plan for the next few weeks. Of course we want a bike that is faster, better in corners and with which you can brake later. I guess the engineers have more in the works. However, our guidelines are relatively clear. I think they can work with our feedback ", explains Miller, who pointed out that the chassis was virtually unchanged.

Back on his Australian lands, we will remember that Jack Miller will not stay away from the competition for long since, from December 3 to 5, he will compete in the last round of the Australian Superbike Championship. Miller had not ridden in front of his compatriots since 2019, due to the well-known health crisis…
