Wednesday September 7, 2022, Johann zarco answered journalists' questions from the Misano World Circuit – Marco Simoncelli at the end of the second day of the official MotoGP test which he finished in 11th position after stopping at the mid-day break having made a total of 73 tours over the two days.

Johann zarco : " I did a day and a half. I won't ride this afternoon because we've done enough laps. The conditions were rather hot, and even though I didn't race on Sunday, you feel that the body is tired after the weekend: Here, in Misano, on a small circuit, it's quite physically demanding because there has a lot of braking.
We worked primarily on settings and we tried very different things to give me more feeling and try to improve certain areas. This was a normal test and I don't have a lot to say »
Have you tried the new Ducati chassis?
" Yes. Yes yes. Anyway, we have different things, and Ducati is trying to collect all this information from the riders, and we can see that the riding styles are very different. We feel different things, but it's interesting for Ducati. »
Have you tried the new clutch?
« We didn't have a better start but it was interesting to have something different and a different feeling in terms of the clutch. It's very hard to gain a few tenths at the start. We have to work on it because when they bring something it's so new and it gives such a different feeling that you can feel something positive but sometimes you don't see it on the clock. So we'll see, because they're different things, but the most important thing is to have done a lot of laps. »
