This weekend in Thailand is not insignificant for Fabio Di Giannantonio. In fact, this is the last time we see him evolve this season, because after Sunday's race, he will leave for Europe to have a severely damaged shoulder treated. So, he is saving himself for 2025, the year in which he will benefit from a Ducati Desmosedici GP25. He wants to put all the chances on his side, but in the meantime, he still has to finish this Thailand Grand Prix, and that is not the easiest.
"Diggia" is suffering, a lot. Since Austria, his shoulder has not healed, and the pain persists. On an extremely hot and physical track, he can do almost nothing. The conditions in Australia had allowed him to shine because it was cold, and the circuit was anti-clockwise. Here, it's the opposite; welcome to hell. "Physically, it's really tough here! I didn't expect so many difficulties. With so many right turns, I'm suffering a lot." he said at the end of the Practice.
First day done, the goal is clear ✊🇹🇭

The pain not only affects right-hand corners, but the entire riding position, making it very difficult to ride the powerful Ducati. « In terms of position, I can't stay on the bike as I would like.. Also, I can't brake hard to be competitive. Too bad, because I felt good in Australia. Here we have fallen far behind, we are very far away » he continued, unable to do anything about it. It's a great pity, because "Diggia" had driven wonderfully well at Phillip Island.

His state of mind is perfectly intact. « We are not efficient in terms of piloting, agreed, but we are not giving up.. We continue to work to be able to have a good race." he concluded, full of hope.
