MotoGP prodigy Pedro Acosta suffered a violent crash during the Australian Grand Prix, injuring his shoulder. Although tests revealed no fracture, the Spaniard is still suffering from pain and will have to undergo a new medical check-up before being able to compete in the Thailand Grand Prix.
The journey to Phillip Island has not been easy for Peter Acosta, rider of the Tech3 GasGas team. After a violent fall during the Sprint, which caused pain in his left shoulder, he was forced to abandon Sunday's Grand Prix. Acosta hopes however to be back in full form for the next race in Thailand this week-end.
Further medical examinations confirmed that there was no fracture and that the pain had diminished over the days. However, the young driver will have to undergo a medical check-up with the circuit doctors. Buriram this Thursday morning in order to receive authorization to run.

The weekend in Australia was tough for me, but I hope to be 100% for Thailand. I have to go a medical check to see if I'm ready to run. If all goes well, we will approach this new weekend with the same enthusiasm and work that we have done in recent months. »
Acosta, known for his determination, hopes to be able to come back strong on the Buriram track and continue to fight for good results in MotoGP, despite recent trials.
