It was a Yamaha trio who won yesterday on the Chang track during the first two free practice sessions. Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Viñales and Franco Morbidelli managed to keep the Hondas and Ducatis of the official teams at bay. It was Jack Miller, the Pramac Racing rider who managed to get in by taking fourth place on the Ducati. Marc Márquez, who had a big scare yesterday in FP1, still took part in FP2, enjoying the luxury, even in pain, of placing sixth. So it's time for the players in this category to close this last free practice session before the qualifying sessions begin.
