Rookie Francesco Bagnaia finished 12th overall in the two free practice sessions for the Thai Grand Prix, the fifteenth of the world championship, held on the Buriram track. A first day of which the Pramac Racing driver says satisfied.

Francesco Bagnaia : " it was one of the best Fridays of the season. I felt very comfortable from the start even though we were a little behind the others. I've never been so close to the front group. »

« It is also a step forward in relation to my driving style which I have reworked » he continues. “We also improved the braking, something we weren't very good at. Unfortunately, by pushing a little too much, I missed the last turn and lost time » explains the teammate of Jack Miller which came, for its part, to position itself 4th in the ranking.

« We still have a lot of work to do tomorrow morning to improve and take charge even better. We are moving forward, it’s positive. It's a circuit that I like because last year, I managed to win there in Moto2. A very good memory. We started off on the right foot, it could be a good weekend so, we will do everything for it, in any case” concludes the former student of the VR46 academy.
