Yesterday you said that you could still improve in your riding style and in your settings. Was this the case?
" Yes. Not 100% yet but you know, when you arrive at a new circuit with a new bike, the more laps you do the more potential you have to improve your time and adapt to the bike. So it was very positive but unfortunately we didn't have any dry laps during FP3. But overall, I am very happy: our pace is a little far from Marc's but we will try to stay with him during the race. »
You crashed after doing your fastest lap, like Marc Márquez. Was it because the grip was decreasing?
“For my part, I attacked a little too much. We fell in the same corner but not in the same way. As far as I'm concerned, I only braked a little too much on the corner and I was a little too close to the limit. The grip was the same but I was just over the limit in this corner. »
You crashed at turn five, Valentino Rossi also crashed at turn five and Marc Márquez also crashed at turn five. Does this shift need to be improved?
“There is a small bump, but that bump is there for everyone, so in the end you adapt your driving to that corner. For me there is not a big problem in this turn and it is not a problem. »
During tomorrow's race, Marc Márquez will undoubtedly give priority to the championship. Are you going to take advantage of this to make the race a little harder?
“Honestly, I give 100% in every race and it will be the same for me tomorrow. If we look at the pace, he is much faster than us, but we know that it is different during the race. We will try to stay with him, but for us it is the same: if I am with him, we will try everything to try to fight like we did in Misano. »
