Friday was completed under mild skies near Buriram but Saturday was a reminder that Thailand could experience rainy episodes that were as violent as they were short. The scorching temperatures then favor the disappearance of traces of humidity, it is a real headache which is imposed on the organizers as well as the teams and drivers. An equation with multiple unknowns promised for Sunday's races...

The meteorologists were right to this Saturday in Thailand and, on the strength of this success, we must therefore give them credit when they warn us about what the sky has in store for us on Sunday, above the Buriram route. We might as well say it from the outset, rain could well be on the agenda and the races could be influenced by the weather.

Saturday morning exercises had to be pushed back almost two hours due to downpours. On Sunday, we expect the rain to water this fifteenth meeting of the season around noon local time. It should also be windy. The sun should return just in time for the races. Moto2 et MotoGP…Which does not mean a completely dry track!
