At the end of a first day marked by the violent fall of Marc Márquez and the domination of Fabio Quartararo, FP3 this morning on a drying track did not allow the drivers to continue their acclimatization to the Thai track and they are therefore Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Viñales, Franco Morbidelli, Jack Miller, Valentino Rossi, Marc Márquez, Aleix Espargaró, Andrea Dovizioso, Joan Mir and Alex Rins who qualified for Q2, much to the chagrin of Danilo Petrucci and Cal Crutchlow.
The Ducati rider, however, got back into Q1, just like Pol Espargaror.
The 12 drivers will be able to benefit from this 2-minute Q15 to determine the order of the first 4 rows of the starting grid and thus prepare for a race which we still do not know whether it will take place in the dry or the wet...
In the meantime, the sun has returned and temperatures are 30° in the air and 47° on the ground.

At the end of the first run, fabio quartararo precede Marc Márquez et Maverick Vinnales which seems to be in an offbeat strategy. Franco Morbidelli completes the good performance of the Yamahas ahead Jack Miller Joan Mir, Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci.
On resumption, fabio quartararo there is a little heat but during the final rush, The Devil is ahead after the first two sectors which are the least favorable to him, before beating his new record in 1'29.719.
Marc Márquez then tries to overtake the Frenchman but falls without seriousness in turn five.
