La parade pilots MotoGP has managed to make its place in the weekend program by becoming a tradition that satisfies both the spectators present, today on the Chang International Circuit of Buriram for the Grand Prix of Thailand, but also the drivers for whom it is the only moment when they can communicate all together without stakes.
Taken with reluctance as a constraint by the most sceptical to its implementation in the format of Grand Prix weekends, at the start of the 2023 season, it has now been adopted with a certain benevolence, at least when the weather is at least relatively mild as is the case this Sunday on the Thai circuit…
The vehicle transporting the champions has become largely standardized since its arrival, at least in Europe, so let's see if the Thai version has any surprises in store for us, in a country where exotic tuk-tuks and trucks are hardly in the realm of decoration...
A priori, no, but the sun is strong!

This nevertheless provides an opportunity to gather feedback from Johann zarco...
“I like Thailand a lot. Even the circuit is pretty cool, it’s not a very complicated circuit, but this weekend it’s super hot and for all the riders it’s almost too hot, because the bike is so hot that it burns sometimes, so we have to stay focused on the race to not make any mistakes, and at the moment Honda can bring some bikes into the top 10, which is good, and I hope to confirm it this afternoon. It’s a circuit that I like, I’ve had good results in the past, but for now the goal is to be in the top 10, top 8, and that’s where we’ll build the season from there.”
…and those not very optimistic Fabio Quartararo.
“Of course, it’s always nice to see all the fans, especially when you know the results aren’t really there. So yeah, it’s really nice to see them cheering us on. But, it’s really difficult (for the race). We’re struggling a lot. So let’s try to do our best to find some grip and try to enjoy, to make the fans enjoy the race.”
