MotoGP confirms the long-awaited return of the Brno circuit to the world championship calendar. This emblematic circuit of the Czech Republic, absent since 2020, will once again host races from next season, with an agreement that extends until 2029. This return marks a renewal for one of the most historic circuits of the championship.

Since its beginnings in 1965, the Grand Prix at Brno has hosted more than 50 races, becoming an essential MotoGP stop. Initially run on a street circuit, the championship made its debut on the Automotodrom Brno track in 1987. With the exception of 1992, MotoGP was a constant presence on this circuit until its withdrawal in 2020, mainly due to financing problems. The return of Brno has been an ongoing discussion, and although the road has been fraught with challenges, particularly in terms of infrastructure, efforts to rehabilitate the track helped seal the deal.

With the German Grands Prix et from Austria already confirmed, the return of Brno reinforces the presence of MotoGP en central Europe, a region passionate about motorcycles. The return of MotoGP to Brno is largely attributed to a change in ownership of the circuit, who decided to invest in improving the facilities.
