The VR46 Racing Team, founded by the legendary Valentino Rossi, is reaching a new milestone in its history with Ducati. Indeed, it has been officially announced that the team will become an official Ducati satellite team from the 2025 season. This partnership marks a new stage in the collaboration between the two entities, already fruitful in recent years.
Now the Tavullia team will benefit from even greater technical support from Ducati Corsica. The pilots VR46 will be equipped with a Desmosedici GP25, the official factory motorcycle, and will benefit from a transfer of technology and knowledge. In addition, new Ducati engineers will join the team to strengthen its expertise.
Alessio salucci, team director VR46, said he was very proud of this new stage: “ I can only be proud to announce that next year the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing team will be the team supported by Ducati in MotoGP. This is a truly significant moment for the entire working group."
He also wanted to thank all the partners and team members who contributed to the realization of this ambitious project. “ I would like to thank all the people who work in the team, the partners who support us, among all Pertamina, Ducati and Gigi Dall'Igna lubricants for having fully believed in this project."
With a duo behind the scenes Ducati Valentino Rossi, Italy has reason to get even more passionate about MotoGP
For its part, Luigi Dall'Igna, general director of Ducati Corse, welcomed this strengthening of the partnership with VR46 : " from day one, the VR46 Racing Team demonstrated its ability to work in perfect harmony with Ducati and in recent years we have managed to achieve important results together. We are therefore happy to be able to further strengthen our relationship."
This partnership promises to be fruitful for both parties. The Borgo Panigale factory will benefit from valuable feedback thanks to the team VR46, while the latter will be able to have the best resources to fight at the forefront of the championship.
With this new dynamic, the future looks bright for the VR46 Racing Team. The team's drivers will be keen to defend the colors of Ducati and achieve new successes in MotoGP. We are now awaiting the announcement of the arrival of Fermin Aldeguer, young hopeful signed by Ducati, and confirmation of Fabio DiGiannantonio. Except that Davide Tardozzi has just announced on Canal+ Morbidelli on a GP24!
