Andrea Dovizioso MotoGP

Whenever a vintage MotoGP bike hits the market, the news quickly reaches fans. This time, it's a MotoGP very recent which will soon be sold; the Ducati Desmosedici GP19 driven Andrea Dovizioso during the 2019 season – as its name suggests – could be yours, if, of course, you can muster the cash. The future owner of this beauty will be able to boast of having a truly special motorcycle in their garage.

Indeed, the Ducati Desmosedici GP19 is special in many ways. After a convincing 2018 season, Ducati returned even sharper in 2019, this time without Jorge Lorenzo in the ranks, but with an all-Italian partnership consisting of Andrea Dovizioso, already a two-time vice-world champion, and Danilo Petrucci. During the season, the GP100 won three times, including two in the hands of "Desmodovi." We remember, of course, this exceptional victory at the Austrian Grand Prix against Marc Marquez.

This bike was already perhaps the best in the world at that time, but like the others, it fell victim to Marc Marquez. The Spaniard won the rider's title with a lead of 151 points, a record that is about to be broken this season. The others only got crumbs, and Dovizioso, despite his great fighting spirit, could do nothing. He finished runner-up in the world championship, while his teammate Danilo Petrucci finished the year in sixth place overall.

In addition to its results, this GP19 was at the cutting edge of technology: it was on it that the first devices were installed Holeshot Device et Ride Height Device, still used today. It will be sold in November by Iconic Auctioneers, and should leave for an estimated price between €577 000 et €807. Otherwise, It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by Paolo Ciabatti himself!
