Ducati has chosen the annual celebration of World Ducati Week to unveil the new generation of its Panigale V4, a 2025 version which will arrive in dealerships in September. This new Panigale V4 sports a completely renewed aesthetic and has an improved and more powerful engine. One of the main new features is the abandonment of the classic single-arm swingarm in favor of a double-arm swingarm, designed to improve performance in WorldSBK. The newcomer will experience her baptism of fire this Saturday for a race that will be worth the detour...

Taking advantage of this presentation, Ducati also created 15 competition replicas of the Panigale V4 2025 for the Lenovo Race of Champions. Renowned drivers such as Pecco Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, Alvaro Bautista et Enea Bastianini will compete at the Misano Circuit Marco Simoncelli in a race of 10 towers scheduled for tomorrow Saturday from 17:30 p.m..

Claudio DomenicaliCEO Ducati, expressed his excitement for this year’s “Lenovo Race of Champions”: “ it will be a great race because the riders will have the new Panigale 2025. It is a good test for all Ducati engineers, who will be able to gather a lot of feedback from this experience. Some people called us crazy for this race, but we have a lot of confidence in the capabilities of this Ducati Panigale V4. We already know that this bike is capable of incredible performance, almost at the level of a MotoGP ».

Gigi Dall'Igna launches an appeal to her Ducati riders: “ we are in peak season so please be careful! »

Gigi Dall'Igna, General Manager of Ducati Corse, stressed the importance of caution during the race: “ there will be this race of champions that everyone wants to win, but we are in peak season so please be careful! I ask and hope that everyone will run using their heads. This is the first time that the drivers are racing with the new Panigale, so it's an important day for Ducati. I think this can be a significant step forward for us. I hope you can enjoy this weekend ».

Dall'Igna also avoided predicting the winner of the race: “ I never say who will win races, and I'm not going to start today. What's important is that everyone runs smart, doesn't make mistakes and shows fair play. The real race weekends will take place at Silverstone and Portimao in MotoGP and SBK ».

This confrontation will offer a unique opportunity to see Marc Marquez and other big names compete on the same bike, offering a glimpse of the capabilities of the new 4 Panigale V2025 in race conditions. But is that really what the competing drivers, particularly those of the MotoGP, will have in mind? …
