For Valentino Rossi, the first half of December will be more than busy...

After the last MotoGP tests in Jerez (see the summary here), the Italian champion barely had time to return to Tavullia where he participated in, and won, the races of theAmericana and " 100 km of the champions » contested in his MotoRanch last weekend.

Now it's off to Monza for a new participation, next weekend, in the Monza Rally Show., a competition in which he has participated since 1997 and which has been popular over the years Andrea Dovizioso, Alex De Angelis, Jorge Lorenzo, Mattia Pasini, Simone Corsi, Luca Marini, Andrea Locatelli et Tony Cairoli.

La traditional event which closes the racing season on the transalpine circuit will therefore once again see the nine-time world champion at the start with his Ford Fiesta WRC 400 Plus prepared by the M-Sport team.

Last year, the latter won following a big error from Marco Bonanomi on his Citroën DS3, and after a little controversy.

With already 6 victories to his credit (see the video of the last one here and the entirety of the final here), the Yamaha rider will therefore put his title back into play against the young Teemu suninen, official Ford driver in the WRC World Championship with exactly the same car as the Doctor.

This year, unlike previous editions, no other motorcycle rider at the start but Marco Bonanomi will always be there, just like Uccio, Roberto Brivio and Antonio Cairoli.

Note, however, that of the 114 entered, only Valentino Rossi, Teemu Suninen, Uccio, Roberto Brivio have a car approved in WRC 400/01 PLUS, more powerful than the fifteen “simple” WRC 1.6s which will take the start (see list of entrants).

See you Thursday for free practice!
