ROSSI AUTHORIZED TO GO TO SPAIN FOR POSSIBLE PARTICIPATION IN EUROPEAN GP

Valencia (Spain), November 5, 2020

Following a negative PCR test result received today (Thursday November 5), Valentino Rossi will travel to Valencia, Spain this evening. Tomorrow he will take another PCR test in accordance with FIM requirements. If he gets a negative result again, the Italian will be able to take part in the Gran Premio de Europa this weekend.

Today (Thursday November 5), Valentino Rossi took a PCR test and the result came back negative for the Covid-19 virus. In accordance with Italian law, the Yamaha rider is now allowed to end his isolation and participate in everyday life again. Rossi will take this opportunity to fly to Valencia, Spain this evening.

Tomorrow (Friday November 6), he will carry out a second PCR test and if the result is negative again, he will be able to reunite with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team and participate in this weekend's European Grand Prix. If Rossi's test comes back positive tomorrow, replacement driver Garrett Gerloff will replace him.
