Valencia

If this Valencia Grand Prix, which closes the 2021 MotoGP season this Sunday, is a foretaste of what awaits us in 2022, then Ducati's opponents can tremble. Once again, and on a track that has rarely smiled on them, the men of Borgo Panigale have four of their GP21s in the top 5. For sure, this winter, we will really have to work with the competition...

The last pole position of the 2021 season in the category MotoGP returned to rookie Ducati Jorge Martin. The Ducati Pramac rider took the fourth pole of the season, obtained with a time of 1'29.936, and he was the only rider to "demolish" the "wall" of 30 minutes.

The No. 89 from Borgo Panigale leads a Ducati hat-trick. Francis Bagnaia et Jack Miller who both fell without consequence, are in fact in second and third position. It is therefore a first line entirely in the colors of a factory Ducati who won his 55th pole in MotoGP, and the eleventh in 2021. The fifth position of Johann zarco completes the work. The Frenchman, on the second Ducati Pramac, is in the Suzuki “sandwich”, with Joan mir fourth and alex rins sixth.

Brad Binder with KTM will open the third row, where we also find the new champion Fabio Quartararo and the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami, survivor of a proven Honda clan. Alex Marquez fell in Q1, Pol Espargaro came close to the worst in FP3 and Marc Marquez is already forfeited…

Fourth line for Valentino Rossi, who during the last qualifying of his career obtained the tenth time 0,810s from pole. The “Doctor” who, as in FP3, tried to exploit the wake of bagnaia, his student at the VR46 Riders Academy, precedes the Aprilia ofAleix Espargarò and his other academician Franco Morbidelli.

In Moto3, pole position went to the new World Champion Peter Acosta and in Moto2, Raul Fernandez fourth and Remy gardner eighth, the crown is still at stake... So as not to miss anything this Sunday of the last of the year, and also that of Valentino Rossi, here is the program.
