Whether it is total domination of the Ducati armada in qualifying, 10th place on the grid de Valentino Rossi for its 432nd and final departure, theabsence of feeling of the reigning world champion fabio quartararo or non-presence of any official Honda for this Grand Prix of the Valencian Community on the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, the previous sessions each brought their share of surprises and adventures.

During this 20-minute warm-up, everyone will be keen to maintain or improve their performance in view of the 27 laps of the race which will begin at 14 p.m., starting with the two Suzuki who are finally starting to do well in qualifying, but also Brad Binder sole survivor of the KTMs in difficulty or Alex Espargaro handicapped by a mysterious yellow flag during his qualification…

On this special day, there are already many tributes...

Weather-wise, it's a very beautiful autumn day ahead, with clear skies and temperatures of 13°C in the air and 12°C on the track this morning.

When the red lights go out... Alex Marquez rushes first, but for once fabio quartararo is not the last. Franco Morbidelli is this one, while George Martin stays in his box.

In terms of tires, everyone chose the medium front except fabio quartararo who persists with the hard, while at the back everyone is also in medium except Maverick Vinales, Aleix Espargaro, Alex Rins, Francesco Bagnaia and Alex Marquez who opted for the tender.

Joan mir registered the first reference in 1'33.014, quickly rendered obsolete by Iker Lecuona and Andrea Dovizioso before the Suzuki driver regained control in 1'31.676 then 1'31.295.

In 1'31.082 at mid-session, the 2020 world champion precedes Takaaki Nakagami, Johann Zarco, Franco Morbidelli, Andrea Dovizioso, Miller, Fabio Quartararo, Enea Bastianini, Iker Lecuona, Maverick Vinales, Brad Binder, Aleix Espargaro, Valentino Rossi, Francesco Bagnaia, Danilo Petrucci, Alex Márquez, Luca Marini, Alex Rins, Miguel Oliveira who has still not recorded any time and George Martin who still hasn't come out of his box.

Johann zarco does not lose sight of its challenge against Jack Miller for the final fourth place in the general classification and is now in second position…

Three minutes from the checkered flag, it is however occupied by alex rins while Jorge Martin finally returned to the track!

Francis Bagnaia gets back behind the two Suzukis at the last minute while Takaaki Nakagami manages at the last minute to prevent Hamamatsu from making the double.
