The last MotoGP Grand Prix of the year in Valencia will have a special flavor for the Aprilia team. This will be the last appearance of the RS-GP in the hands of Bautista and Bradl. But it will also be an opportunity to see these motorcycles in a new red livery. And there is nothing to do between the two events.

Currently, the motorcycle is a show in Milan and MotoGP is no stranger to the event. The manufacturer Aprilia has thus combined business with pleasure by presenting not only its new production models, but by announcing an original scarlet dress which will adorn its RS-GP during the Valencia Grand Prix.

The announced departures of Baptist and Bradl have nothing to do with it any more than we should see in this a guilty mimicry with the compatriot but very rival Ducati. No, red is worn for a good humanitarian cause. An honor given to the RED organization, supported by the Piaggio group and founded in 2006 by Bond et Bobby Shriver.

RED is a brand that is licensed to partner companies such as American Express, Apple, Converse, Nike, Motorola, Gap, Emporio Armani, Hallmark, Microsoft and Dell. Piaggio, through Aprilia, joins the movement. For what cause? That of fighting against the diseases of AIDS, malaria and even tuberculosis. The funds raised go to research, prevention and the victims of these serious infectious diseases.

An action mainly intended for the African continent. And in particular Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania and Zambia. 70 million people identified have been able to benefit from RED's actions which has already attracted nearly 360 million dollars. The hashtag #iRideRED will be in effect during the Valencia Grand Prix.
