Like every year, Valentino Rossi gathered at his ranch near Tavullia around forty of his friends, including some MotoGP riders like Álex Rins and Franco Morbidelli, and of course all the young Italian riders from the VR46 Riders Academy, as well as guests from all over the world like the Americans JD Beach and Sammy Halbert and the Frenchman Thomas Chareyre, without forgetting the female drivers including Maria Herrera and Beatriz Neila.
On Saturday there was a American race, which the boss rushed to win, before the grand final on Sunday for teams of two drivers called “The 100 km of Champions”.
Then this Sunday, Valentino won again with his half-brother Luca Marini. They won the event ahead of Andrea Migno and Franco Morbidelli, while third place went to Americans JD Beach and Sammy Halbert.
On December 14, Valentino Rossi and Luca Marini will be back on track, this time on four wheels, aboard a Ferrari GT3 with which they will participate in the 12 Hours of Abu Dhabi on behalf of the Swiss team Monster VR46 Kessel in the GT3 ProAm category with “Uccio” (Alessio Salucci) as third driver.
