Valentino Rossi has always attracted a large and varied audience. This is why he is always placed at the forefront when it comes to organizing charity works. In fact, every time he participates in an auction, the Doctor always manages to bring in a nice nest egg for whoever put him on the market. It was therefore unavoidable to see him indirectly participate in an auction on the well-known site Charity Stars, which raises funds for non-profit initiatives.

This time it is through painting on steel that Valentino Rossi appears. We see him during his Ducati period, certainly not very successful in terms of prize lists, but ultimately colorful. It is specified that the work was done with the same technique applied on competition motorcycles.

Each color is masked then sprayed and several layers are created. Then shadows and effects are added and a layer of transparent varnish, which makes the work more shiny.

Artist DrAutoArt has previously created other works of this type involving F1 and MotoGP characters. It takes around 50 hours to complete such an opus. This portrait of Valentino Rossi has dimensions of 85 × 60 cm and a hook that even allows you to hang it. So far the auction has reached a price of almost 500 euros.

The proceeds from this initiative will go to CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading cancer charity. It helps children, young people and their families. It provides clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help people cope with cancer and get the most out of their lives. Its members are there from the first diagnosis and try to help the whole family cope with the impact of cancer and treatments, life resulting from treatments and, in some cases, bereavement.
