Barely back from Texas where he took the second step of the podium, Valentino Rossi went to the Misano circuit on Wednesday to honor his commitment to the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.

In partnership with Dainese, the Doctor transformed himself into a Professor to give some riding advice to the four winners of the Dainese Riding Masters.

Sharing the track with the current second in the world championship was a particularly rare moment, especially as Franco Morbidelli, Luca Marini, Lorenzo Baldassarri, Marco Bezzecchi, Loris Capirossi and Mattia Pasini also participated in the event.

In total, 49 euros were given by check to the foundation represented by Paolo and Rossella Simoncelli, parents of the late Marco, as well as his girlfriend, Kate.

Valentino Rossi : “Nice idea from Dainese. I was very happy when they offered it to me because, when you can participate in a charitable work, especially for Marco's foundation, it's always beautiful. There were four boys, with little experience, but it was good to teach the tricks of Misano.”

Asked about the last race and the MotoGP championship, the Yamaha rider said: “I saw the race last night, it was very beautiful, I regret not having won. But the fight with Rins was tough because I made mistakes. I didn't give up, I managed to catch up with him, but in the end he was better, he beat me, but I'm very happy. We have to work to continue like this. The World Championship is magnificent, three drivers and three different manufacturers have already won. We fight in every race to achieve victory. It is the objective. The season has started well, but it will be difficult because each track is different. In Jerez it will be an important test to see if we are competitive.”
