The “Doctor” left the Brno Grand Prix frustrated by his fourth place. The problems therefore continue at Yamaha, and not only on his side of the box, even if he did not wish to speak too much on this subject.

Valentino Rossi hoped to be able to fight for victory during a large part of the race, or even then for the podium, but ultimately had to give up his weapons against the two Ducatis and Marc Márquez to finish in a fourth place which he went to seek from the very end against Cal Crutchlow.

The Italian studied his opponents well during the race, and he can only recognize their superiority at the moment, as relayed by the Spanish site Trademarks : “It was very interesting to observe them. It's a shame to be in such good shape and to have a slower bike than everyone else. I give my best, but it's not enough. I'm driving well, I'm very focused and the team is working perfectly, but technically we're behind and that's stopping us from fighting for victory. We don't miss much, but we miss that little something that we miss on every level. »

The “Doctor” is not the only one to complain about the delay encountered by Yamaha, his teammate Maverick Viñales also does. For his part, what caused a lot of talk this weekend was his disagreement with his chief mechanic Ramon Forcada. Regarding this story, Rossi was cautious: “It’s not my place to talk about certain things. What I can say is that Maverick is a very strong driver, but he found himself in an unexpected situation with a less competitive M1 and, at times, it's complicated, especially since he didn't have not the experience to stay calm. Obviously, the motivation when you give everything to finish fifth is not the same as when you wake up and know you are going to fight for victory. I think we just need to give him a really fast bike and then Maverick will become competitive again. »
