Yamaha see in Andrea Dovizioso an ideal test pilot, much more seasoned and mobilized than his current one who bears the name of Jorge Lorenzo. The latter understood and began to study a solution with Aprilia, the brand with which he won two of his five world titles.
Andrea Dovizioso loves bumps, dirt, dust and mud. He excels in motocross, a category where he has already said he feels truly free, unlike MotoGP almost presented as prison.

He freelanced in DTM, raced with a Lamborghini and now, before going to Valencia, he had fun in a powerful Audi in Rallycross.
