Marc Marquez

The eight-time world champion Marc Marquez will be officially presented this Saturday January 20, 2024 at the Cocoricò in Riccione with his brother Alex, an event “by invitation” but which can be followed by a live broadcast at 17:30 p.m. also on our website. There are a few hours left to see what the final design of Marc Marquez's Gresini motorcycle will look like, and above all, to put an end to the series of sponsors who follow him from Honda, like Red Bull...

After the last difficult years at Honda, the eight-time world champion has chosen the best bike, even if it will be a Desmosedici GP23, to return to the top and fight for the World Championship. The Spaniard will inherit the motorcycles with which Johann zarco competed at Pramac Racing, two units which, as recently explained Gigi Dall'Igna, do not have the latest innovations incorporated by Ducati for technical and reliability reasons.

Before this Saturday, Marc Marquez passed through the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale on Thursday. He visited the company museum as shown in this photo where we see him on the handlebars of the Ducati de Loris Capirossi, or the Desmosedici which, in 2003, allowed Capirex to win in Barcelona during the red team's first season in MotoGP.

To Marc Marquez, the next meeting on the track is planned at Sepang, Tuesday, February 6th, where all the participants of MotoGP 2024 will be present. But before that he should participate in two days of private testing in Portimao at the wheel of a Superbike on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 January. Dates reserved by Ducati for a test with its MotoGP riders, including private teams. His brother Alex will be present, so Marc should also make his debut there with a Panigale V4.

Everything is ready for the presentation of the Team Gresini Racing 2024, an event that precedes by only two days the already popular “Campioni in Pista” that Ducati will organize in the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort on 22 janvier. The Italian firm will present its official teams there MotoGP, WorldSBK and Italian Motocross Championship.
