The entry of Trackhouse MotoGP as a successor team to RNF Aprilia is being touted as an attempt to revive interest in MotoGP in America. Despite the lack of American drivers in the premier class, the team hopes to increase interest by fielding two Europeans, Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernández, while focusing on the American market.
The presence of a local American hero in the premier category of Grands Prix could take years. However, the team TrackHouse MotoGP seeks to offset this by working with American sponsors and partners who can tell the American story.
