Biaggi made the Rock tremble by making his Aprilia...

Max Biaggi is an Aprilia ambassador and he has served on the Rock. A site in Monaco which resonated as we entered the new year with the symphony of the V4 of the Tuono version A show worth fireworks...

We don't know if the neighbors complained, but Max Biaggi made an impression by celebrating the first seconds of the new year at Monaco. Rather than setting off a common fireworks display, the six-time World Champion literally made his Aprilia Tuono V4 from the terrace of his apartment. The V4 improved by Akrapovic is a spectacle in itself, a most pleasant sound and light.

The one who, in 2020, broke the electric motorcycle speed record by reaching the 408 km/h with the Voxan Wattman immortalized the scene in this video posted on his social network. It will be recalled that the X version of Tuono V4 is equipped with an aerodynamic appendage derived from the prototype MotoGP RS-GP, and a special dedicated livery, called “Bol d’Or”. The name was chosen because it is inspired by the RSV 1000 R Factory which took part in the 2006 edition of the French endurance race.

The 4 cc 1100° V3 engine is derived from that fitted to the RSV65 4 Factory and uses the most permeable air filter on the market, an element of the Sprint Filter also used by Aprilia Racing in MotoGP. The exhaust system, signed by the Slovenian Akrapovic, is composed of titanium collectors which lead to a carbon silencer. Maximum power increases from 217 hp of the standard unit to 221 ch. All for 166 kilos only.

The electronic equipment has been revised with engine control and missile dynamics maps developed by Aprilia Racing. The maps are all “full power” and optimized for racing exhaust, therefore for exclusive use on the circuit. Standard equipment includes an electronic gearbox with downshift assist, color TFT instrumentation with integrated GPS sensor and a control panel to manage the main electronic controls race-style.

As for the chassis, based on the double aluminum beam frame, we find the semi-active suspension Öhlins Smart EC 2.0. and a racing braking system Brembo, with GP4-MS calipers machined from mass, as well as radial calipers.
