It seems that this offseason is marked by a mix of genres. The bridges between Formula 1 and MotoGP continue to rise in the news. There are similarities between the now effective retirements of Casey Stoner and Nico Rosberg, we saw Jorge Lorenzo open a champions museum with a lot of Formula 1 in it and this weekend Valentino Rossi in rally and Andrea Dovizioso on Lamborghini are competing behind a steering wheel. But motorsport drivers are also taking up motorcycles.

Jorge Lorenzo drove a Mercedes Formula 1 car who dominated his season by winning a new world title. We could also say that a champion of this same Formula 1 returned the favor by getting behind the wheel of the machine that won the supreme crown this year, the Honda RC213V. And it's Fernando Alonso which thus enabled this exchange of good practices during the Honda Thanks Days.

Currently, on the Motegi route, Honda has brought together all its motorsport champions, on two or four wheels. Fernando Alonso, driver of the Japanese brand in Formula 1 therefore did not miss the opportunity to climb on the RC213V for a few laps.

For its part, Dani Pedrosa enjoyed a moment behind the wheel of a Honda NSX Super GT. For some, it was Christmas before its time.
