In 2022, Jorge Martínez "Aspar" acquired the Guadassuar circuit, which is now called Aspar Circuit, with a group of investors including Juan Roig, banker Paul Gomero and Grupo Ática.

Located about twenty kilometers south of Valencia, in a region that has been at the heart of urban racing in Spain, the infrastructure was until now called Circuit de la Ribera and had been closed since 2019, following numerous disagreements between the municipality and the former owner.

The 350 square meter complex is divided into four zones, a 2-metre main circuit, an 200-metre karting circuit, a 850-metre dirt track, an 1-metre asphalt surface for Aspar KSB Sport, and even a museum dedicated to the four-time world champion in 100 and 18cc, who achieved a double in 000.

Open since May 15, 2024, the infrastructure was inaugurated a week later in the presence of some officials of the motorcycle speed competition. Three months later, the track began to receive visits from prestigious names, such as James Masia et David Alonso, but above all Marc Marquez et Alex Marquez on their “old” Honda CBR 600 (!).

An incongruity that was corrected in January of this year, when the two brothers returned to the track on Panigales, alongside Jorge Martin.

Ten days later, it's the turn of Fabio Quartararo to share some photos of his ride on the Valencian track, riding a very nicely decorated Yamaha R6. We know that the Frenchman is not very keen on inter-season training on production bikes, but a few days before the test in Sepang, or even shakedown if our hypothesis were verified, this warm-up was undoubtedly welcome…
