Ducati celebrated its two triple crowns acquired in MotoGP and WSBK in the good city of Bologna with great fanfare. The brand also pulled out all the stops by revealing two replicas of the world champions in the form of the Panigale V4R which will not be out of place under the tree in the coming days. Limited editions as it should be, here are the details…

On the occasion of the evening Ducati in Bologna, the Borgo Panigale company presented two Panigale V4 in limited edition to celebrate the titles won by bagnaia en MotoGP a pair Baptist in Superbike. The motorcycles feature the same liveries that won both world championships, with certificate of authenticity and exclusive technical equipment. 260 Examples were produced each with the signature of the Ducati champion, in homage to the year the Rossa was founded in 1926.

The motorcycles were presented during the press conference of “ Campioni in Piazza2", the event with which Ducati celebrated this historic double success of 2022 in MotoGP and Superbike with its fans. The two special series, created from the basis of the Panigale V4 S, are characterized by the liveries of the motorcycles of Pecco Bagnaia #63 and Alvaro Bautista #19. Each individual example in the series will be made unique by the original driver's autograph affixed to the tank, a signature which will then be protected by a layer of clear varnish. The two motorcycles, produced in a numbered and limited series, celebrate the year of birth of Ducati in their production numbers. Each series will in fact only be made up of 260 copies, in honor of 1926, the year the Bolognese company was founded.

Ducati never forgets its fans and good customers

Like the racing motorcycles from which they are inspired, the Panigale V4 2022 World Champion replicas are offered in single-seater configuration only and are enriched by the machined aluminum steering plate with laser engraving of the model name, progressive number and race of the two drivers. The technical equipment benefits from the adoption of the nine-disc STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, the approved silencer Akrapovic  which is 2 kg lighter than the standard one on the Panigale V4, the braking system Brembo reinforced with Stylema R calipers and MCS master cylinder with remote adjustment, Rizoma adjustable footrests machined from billet aluminum and racing plexiglass.

Other technical details that characterize these special versions are the heat shield of the rear exhaust manifolds, the alternator cover, the front and rear mudguards and the front brake ducts, all in carbon fiber. Also in carbon fiber combined with titanium, there is also the cover to protect the single-sided swingarm. Finally, the series dedicated to Alvaro Bautista #19 offers a brushed aluminum tank, as on the more sophisticated versions of the Panigale V4.

Each motorcycle will be delivered in a packaging crate with dedicated graphics and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a personalized motorcycle cover and the Ducati Data Analyzer+ data acquisition system. Those who want to enjoy the performance of these two motorcycles on the circuit can mount the additional accessories provided, such as the carbon fiber open clutch cover, the kit to remove the license plate holder and the mirrors and the cap Billet aluminum racing tank.
