After a spectacular weekend in Jerez, the FIM MotoJunior World Championship set its sights on Magny-Cours, France, for the fourth round of the season.
With six races on the program, the spectacle promises to be there once again as the future stars of speed continue their learning.
Moto3 Junior: Three leaders perfectly tied
The fight for the championship is closer than ever. Julius Pugliese (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) Carlos cano (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) and Travis Borg (Team Monlau) approach the French event with 69 points each, sharing the lead in the general classification ahead of the Indonesian Kiandra Ramadhipa (Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team).
Behind this quartet, Yaroslav Karpushin (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) will be looking to confirm the excellent performances achieved at Jerez, where he secured his first podium finish and his first victory in Moto3 Junior. The rider wearing number 17 currently sits fifth in the championship, just 13 points behind the leaders in his rookie season.
For its part, Leonardo Zanni (Momoven Racing) will be looking to bounce back after letting a victory that seemed within their grasp slip away at Jerez following a crash in the first race. With only 11 points Having collected points during the third round, the Italian now sits in sixth place in the standings.
On the French side, a quartet with strong potential is emerging with Guillem Planques (#24, Momoven Racing, KTM), David DaCosta (#72, JEG Take Off GP, Honda), Enzo Bellon (#33, CIP Green Power Junior Team, KTM) and Remy Sanjuan (#99, Larresport, Honda) who could take advantage of his home race in the Nièvre.

Moto2: Pawelec defends his lead
Thanks to a brilliant performance in Jerez, Milan Pawelec (AGR Team) arrives in France as the new leader of the European Moto2 Championship. The Polish rider secured his third victory of the season, as the category returns to its two-race format at Magny-Cours.
His main pursuer is Unai Orradre (Momoven Racing), which is only six points behind driver number 44. Eric Fernandez (Fau55TeyRacing) also remains in contention for the title despite a penalty for irresponsible riding received at Jerez, which had relegated him to fourth place in the race.
Among the drivers to watch this weekend is also Francis Mongiardo (MMR), who achieved his second podium finish of the season thanks to a second place in Spain. Another confident Italian, Alessandro Morosi (Eagle-1) will try to confirm after narrowly missing out on a Top 5 finish in Jerez.

ETC: Lucas wants to resume his forward march
En European Talent Cup, Alvaro Lucas (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) retains its championship lead before the French round. The rider wearing number 46 won three of the first five races of the 2026 season, but will be looking to bounce back after his crash in the second round held in Jerez.
