Currently 10th in the Moto3 Junior World Championship and 13th in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, the 18-year-old from Lyon is now showing solid performances on the cusp of Grand Prix racing, and the fourth round of the MotoJunior, which takes place this weekend at the Magny-Cours circuit, obviously holds a very special importance for him.

A truck stopped in the middle of the road towards Magny-Cours
On the way to the French circuit, the semi-trailer truck transporting the motorcycles and all the equipment of the Momoven Racing was immobilized by the Civil Guard (Guardia Civil) Spanish, directly threatening the team's participation in the fourth round of the season. Behind this spectacular incident, however, lies a much more complex legal conflict, which goes far beyond the purely sporting realm.
The incident occurred as the Momoven Racing convoy, now materially based in the Netherlands, was heading towards Magny-Cours after the Catalunya, Estoril, and Jerez rounds. According to a statement released by the Spanish team, the vehicle transporting the motorcycles, engines, spare parts, and all the racing equipment was intercepted and then immobilized due to a administrative deregistration (" administrative office" ) of the trailer.
The problem, however, is more complex than a simple administrative error. According to the Spanish team, this deregistration comes at a time when... Civil proceedings are still ongoing regarding the ownership of the vehicle.Momoven Racing therefore believes that this immobilization is unjustified and announces that it has immediately initiated legal proceedings.
A multi-hour operation by the Guardia Civil
The situation quickly escalated. According to Momoven Racing's version of events, several people outside the team were present during the interception of the semi-trailer truck, creating a highly tense atmosphere. In its official statement, the team notably cites DAM, presented as being linked to Grupo Impormotor and KB, presented as being linked to the KSB Aspar TeamShe claims that her staff were victims of alleged pressure and acts of coercionwhich led to the intervention of the Guardia Civil for several hours.
The authorities finally authorized the unloading, inventory, and recovery of all the sports equipment. The motorcycles were thus able to continue their journey to Magny-Cours, allowing the team to participate in the competition weekend. However, the trailer remains immobilized pending the court's decision.
This is a matter that goes far beyond sport.
At first glance, the incident might seem to be just a logistical problem. However, several elements suggest that it is the visible part of a much older conflict.
Since the beginning of the year 2026, Momoven has regained control of the former structure Finetwork MIR Racing Team, with the ambition to develop a sporting project ranging from MotoJunior to the Moto2 World Championship, in partnership with the RW Racing Team.
However, Spanish business media outlets were already reporting several months ago on complex discussions surrounding the ownership of certain assets of the former MIR Racing structure. The team principal and co-owner of Momoven Racing, Javier Martinez, also manager of Guillem PlanquesHe explained that several questions remained open regarding the reorganization of the sports project and its assets.
Although no official link has been established between these cases, the civil proceedings concerning the ownership of the truck would seem to fall within this broader context.

The real issue, however, doesn't seem to be just the immobilization of the truck: it's about determining who actually owns MIR Racing's historical assets (trucks, trailers, equipment, sporting rights, etc.). This is probably the point at the heart of the ongoing legal proceedings.
