With a Honda lacking acceleration but which has more passing speed than in the past, Marc Marquez aims to bring back big points from Italy, even if the Yamaha and Ducati should not make it easy for him. .

Nevertheless, the past has served as a lesson and the Honda driver has shown himself to be very mature until now, at least until Le Mans; let's therefore hope that he does not repeat the same mistake as in France, nor that of last year at Mugello, and knows how to take advantage of possible racing events to do well...

Marc Marquez: “I'm looking forward to the next two races: we need to apply ourselves and concentrate on Mugello and Montmelo which are two very different circuits from Jerez and Le Mans.
They require more passing speed and, if two years ago I would have said that they represented demanding tracks for us, now I think that these can perhaps be more beneficial.
We have work to do but I believe if we improve the acceleration our bike is one of the best here. Not easy to achieve this because of the current rules which prevent us from working on the engine, but I know Honda is working hard on all other parts of the bike and I have confidence in them. So we remain positive and we will aim for the podium at Mugello but we will see how things go and, just in case, we will try to get the best result that the conditions allow us. »
