The Motegi is a track that pleases Álex Márquez who has three victories there. An appetite confirmed with the best time taken at the end of FP2 which also revealed the good form of the two official KTMs. Brad Binder will once again be a spoilsport in a Grand Prix while his teammate Jorge Martin proves to be the sensation with his third place. The surprise also came from Manzi who remained in the top 10 aboard his MV Agusta. As for Marini, he is on the momentum of his latest success in Thailand by subscribing to the top 5.

It's gone for 40 minutes. It is Marini who heats up the track with the reference time in 2.07.861s ahead Martin et Pasini. But the British, Dixon who loves the rain comes to push all these little people forward to win second best time in 2.06.297s. He pushes his way and manages to position himself at the forefront in 2.04.247s.

Meanwhile, Gardner went to recover the best time in 2.04.119s to the detriment of Dixon. lecuona, Manzi et agitated make up the top 5.

Marini, in turn, took the best time in 2.03.855s ahead of his teammate, Open up. Fall of Lowes in turn 8. Norrodin takes his turn in turn 10.
Öttl also made a mistake in turn 3. We had six crashes as the rain increased in intensity. Open up goes to the mat in turn 5. NAVARRO, in turn performs a balancing act on his Speed Up, he also manages to control it.
