What can we say about Jorge Lorenzo's objectives at the dawn of this Grand Prix of the Americas, except that he undoubtedly joins Andrea Iannone in his desire to forget the Argentinian page and make up for it in the USA?

This would still require Yamaha to allow it. Not even to mention the Texas weather, always very capricious this season, which could put a damper on him…

Whatever it may be, too modest or realistic, the fact remains that the reigning world champion does not really display the speech of a potential winner...

Jorge Lorenzo: “After a very disappointing race in Argentina, I can't wait to race in Austin. I thought I could get some good points at Termas de Rio Hondo but, unfortunately, we struggled all weekend and, ultimately, during the race too. The COTA circuit is not one of my favorite tracks, nor for the Yamahas, so we have to try to understand the new electronics and tires on this circuit as quickly as possible. We'll see how things go this weekend, but I want to have a good race and try to recover some points before heading into the first race in Europe. »

Last year, the Mallorcan driver finished 4th, behind Marc Marquez, Andrea Dovizioso and Valentino Rossi.
