We had a feeling but it was on the starting grid of the Czech Republic Grand Prix that Miodrag Kotur, the Operations Director of the Leopard Racing team, formalized the arrival of Enea Bastianini in the Luxembourg structure in 2018. He will replace the departing Joan Mir for the Marc VDS Moto2 team.
Discovered by Fausto Gresini, the young driver from Rimini is riding this year under the Estrella Galicia 0,0 colors but the chemistry is not ideal and the results are down.
Enea Bastianini will have a Honda alongside a driver whose name is not yet known but who could be Niccolo Antonelli ou Marcos Ramirez.
