19-year-old Japanese hopeful Kaito Toba will join the Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2020 project in 3. It will be recalled that the structure led by Aki Ajo won the 125cc title in 2008 and 2010, in addition to the Moto3 title in 2012 and 2016.

The young Japanese will compete in a fourth full Moto3 World Championship campaign in 2020. He emerged as the winner of the 2014 Asia Talent Cup and competed brilliantly in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and the FIM CEV, where he achieved three victories and three more podiums in 2015 and 2016. The following year, Kaito made his debut in the World Championship, where he now has 50 races under his belt. Toba recorded his first victory in Qatar this season, becoming the first Japanese driver to win in the category in the last 12 years.
