Tito Rabat will replace Jorge Martin, operated this afternoon following a big fall in Portugal, for the Spanish GP in Jerez de la Frontera which will take place from April 30 to May 2 on the Angel Nieto circuit. It is now official and therefore confirms the rumor that appeared during the day while Jorge Martín was operated on this afternoon at the Dexeus University Hospital in Barcelona with the intention of reducing the fractures of the metacarpal of his right thumb, the right malleolus and the left tibial plateau.

Michele Pirro having to carry out two days of testing at Mugello on April 29 and 30, a very important preparation in order to be as efficient as possible for Ducati's home race, Pramac Racing, in agreement with Ducati, has therefore decided to offer Esteve “Tito” Rabat the opportunity to participate in the Spanish GP in Jerez on the Desmosedici GP21.

The Catalan rider, who will turn 32 on May 25, was Moto2 world champion in 2014. He has also raced for the last three years for the MotoGP Esponsorama Avintia team. He therefore knows the Ducati motorcycle and Michelin tires very well.

This year, Tito Rabat participates in the Superbike World Championship for the Barni Racing Team on the Panigale V4 R, to whom Pramac Racing and Ducati extend their thanks for the will and collaboration they showed on this occasion.

Zarco/Rabat, the duo which rode under the Avintia eSponsorama colors last season is therefore temporarily reconstituted…
