Following several incidents on and off the track during the last two Grands Prix in the Czech Republic and Austria, the FIM MotoGP™ stewards have started to summon the riders involved in order to better understand the circumstances of each situation, in addition to analyzing the sequences video of the incidents in question.

As it was not possible to organize all the hearings at the conclusion of the Austrian MotoGP™ GP on Sunday August 16, members of the FIM MotoGP™ Stewards Panel, consisting of Bill Cumbow, Freddie Spencer and Ralph Bohnhorst, will continue to summon the affected drivers as soon as possible before the BMW M Styrian Grand Prix.

Danilo Petrucci (Ducati Team) and Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) each attended an audition on Saturday during the Austrian GP.

Johann Zarco (Esponsorama Racing), Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT), Pol Espargaró (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Tech 3) will each meet with the FIM MotoGP™ stewards on Thursday August 20 at Red Bull Ring.

The mission of the FIM is to support drivers and contribute to their safety and education, as well as to apply any sanctions required by the FIM regulations.

A press release will be issued after the hearings.
