Ousted by Karel Abraham from the Aspar MotoGP team, Colombian driver Yonny Hernandez has joined Karlos Argiñano's team for 2017. The Argiñano & Ginés (AGR) team is therefore starting to take shape for 2017 with this first agreement, while awaiting the appointment of the second driver.

Yonny Hernández (25/7/1988, Medellín) has been racing in MotoGP™ since 2012 after making his Grand Prix debut in 2010 and 2011, in Moto2. During his two seasons in the intermediate category #68, the Colombian rider had obtained several sixth places as his best results while a seventh place crowned his career in MotoGP (Sepang 2014).

The AGR team uses Kalex chassis.
