The Petronas Sepang Racing Team, in collaboration with Ohvale, today announced a MiniGP Special Series motorcycle which will be available in a limited edition of 46 units from September and all for €9.600. The PSRT Special Series MiniGP Ohvale is based on the 0cc Ohvale GP-160 model with a number of key upgrades and features, as well as additional accessories.

Based on Ohvale's GP-0 model, the minibike features the platform's 160cc single-cylinder, a Dell'orto carburetor and Arrow exhaust. However, the PSRT GP-0 adopts a larger frame to accommodate adult riders, similar to Ohvale's new GP-2 model. A Mupo fork, an Ohlins rear shock absorber and a pair of 10-inch wheels complete the chassis while J. Juan brakes help stop the sports mini.

The Pirelli slicks provide all the grip required on a go-kart track, especially after removing the PSRT-branded heat blankets that come with the limited edition GP-0. The package also includes a front and rear stand stand, perfect for the paddock, while the numbered upper triple clamp provides instant bragging rights. The GPS and Bluetooth enabled Alfano digital dashboard should help drivers improve their lap times.

Of course, the real highlight is the Petronas livery. Decorated in the brand's colors, the GP-0 resembles the satellite team's Yamaha M1. Ohvale also equips the special edition mini with accessories worthy of the PSRT's MotoGP roots: carbon fiber fairings replace the plastic units on the standard model and incorporate fins, like the MotoGP. Brake and clutch lever guards further clarify the racing intentions of the GP-0.

Razlan Razali, boss of the Petronas team, comments “We are pleased to reward our loyal fans with this limited edition Petronas SRT Ohvale special series MiniGP motorcycle. This is a superb MiniGP that really justifies the treatment we gave it. It is aimed at Petronas Sepang Racing Team enthusiasts who want to enjoy on-track action in the MiniGP format and we have worked with Ohvale to create something truly special with some of the best suppliers in the industry. We looked at every element that makes up each of these motorcycles when creating the package and there will be 46 very lucky people who will have this in their garage. »

Pre-orders are currently open on the Ohvale website and deliveries are expected by September 2021.
