Amusement parks have always gone well with motor sports. Originally designed as a private test track, the Suzuka Circuit was quickly equipped with a " Amusement Park » which led to the owner company being named Motorland. Ducati could not of course be left out and will open in the Mirabilandia park in 2019 a space dedicated to its motorcycles with roller coasters, simulators and virtual reality.
Ducati Motor Holding and Parques Reunidos, one of the largest theme park operators in the world, have signed an agreement to develop Ducati World in Mirabilandia. Here is how the project is officially presented:
“Thanks to this partnership, visitors to Mirabilandia will be able to immerse themselves in the exciting world of the red motorcycles of Borgo Panigale, reaching new levels of adrenaline and thrills. »
“Ducati World will be the first exclusively motorcycle-themed area to be added to an amusement park in Italy. The project will cover an area of approximately 35 m000 and is expected to be open to the public by 2.”
“The Mirabilandia area dedicated to Ducati will include a new generation roller coaster that will turn each visitor into a Ducati rider, simulators, virtual reality and attractions for children. »
