To observe the progress of manufacturers and teams, nothing could be simpler. Just compare the totals

Furthermore, the calendar altered by Covid-19 sometimes offered two rounds on the same circuit, which can also distort the situation. The huge differences with last year are obvious.
Honda only loses 19 points compared to last year, and that's the minimum. Currently last in the championship, the winged brand will have to pull itself together and perhaps not wait for the possible return of
Marc Marquez.
On the success side, we find Ducati, which, in addition to having five machines that can compete for the podium in each race, seems to have perfected its 2022 vintage after a difficult start. The brand displays a total of 246 pointsEither 34 more than
2021 at the same period. as you might have guessed, the prize goes to Aprilia, which achieves a leap of
87 point mid-season. This represents 128% of the 2021 total! On the other hand, all other brands are losing ground.
Suzuki, which is experiencing a number of difficulties, is

Yamaha , free fall. KTM, which was not on the basis of a record year in 2021, displays
31 point less than last year.

aprilia-racing also recorded the best progress as a team. Indeed, the Italians are in first place, with progress of 142 units. First Pramac Racing is also experiencing great development (+16 points), as Mooney VR46 Racing Team, in advance of
44 point compared to Esponsorama Racing, the team it replaced. Gresini did not exist as such, but did better thanEsponsorama, who rode a Ducati (+ 60 points), as well as Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, the team she previously headed (+ 52 points).
Si Repsol Honda only loses six points, it must be remembered that the year 2021 was very complicated.

WithU Yamaha RNF, formerly Petronas Yamaha SRT, lost 44 point compared to 2021. But the most impressive remains the factory team, with a deficit of 79 point mid-season. Fortunately for the blues, Ducati Lenovo is also losing ground (– 42 points), which leaves a margin at the forefront. This means that the Borgo Panigale firm is stronger, but the private ones have caught up with the official training, which is an interesting point to note.
