There it's done ! There is exactly one year since we opened the Paddock–GP.com site, the week of the Qatar Grand Prix, 2016 with this little text.

The big moment has arrived!
After months spent working on the project, it is now time to line up on the starting grid, at the dawn of this 2016 season.
So of course, we start at the back of the grid, very, very far from the leaders in the category…
Of course, our machine has not done a single tour to date, barely a month of testing with our Facebook page…
Of course, we still have everything to learn…
Of course, there will be breakdowns, adjustments, modifications and improvements…
Of course, we will have the brakes done and, of course, we will have to adjust the Traction Control otherwise we will find ourselves irremediably left behind by the peloton...
And of course, our hearts are beating faster than usual and drops are oozing under our helmet…
But we are here, and it is already a first victory!
If you liked our first debugging work on our Facebook page (a page whose comments are moderated, remember), you should appreciate the work that will be done on our site, with a reinforced team and richer content.
The Paddock-GP adventure begins this week in Qatar.
So, from the top of your electronic platforms, don't hesitate to show us that we share the same passion, with a comment, a "like", a share or by talking about it around you. We will be sensitive and attentive, and will do our best to inform you as if you were in the paddock. This paddock which also follows our adventure with certain interest…

How many efforts and hours have been devoted since then, to follow as closely as possible all the news of the Grands Prix, how many articles written to inform you (3685 exactly, an average of 10 per day) and how much progress has been made to, today, appear as if from afar the richest independent website devoted to the subject in French.

We found this motivation thanks to you, you who read us daily and who are as passionate as we are.

To thank you, and as every birthday should be symbolized by gifts, we offer you a few, some already known, others that we are pleased to announce to you today!

Gift #1: Without doubt the most important, for you and for us. Philippe Debarle came to strengthen the present team and bring both his immense experience and his pen.

Gift #2: Hervé Poncharal gave us the pleasure of renewing the operation  » 2 Super VIP Passes at Tech3 « . And today we decided that this would take place during the Grand Prix in Misano! In addition to its paddock and its overheated stands, this will allow you to take a short trip to Tavullia or to the beaches of the Adriatic, and to enjoy the Dolce Vita of the evenings in Misano or Riccione... Stay connected so as not to miss this Competition, the previous edition of which in Austria left lasting memories !

Gift #3 : 4Gmoto.com offers you the opportunity to live a dream day riding a Ducati 959 on the Drive Center of the Paul Ricard circuit. Our Competition is currently in progress and you can now participate.

Gift #4: In collaboration with the Sunday Ride Classic, undoubtedly the place where you can get as close as possible to motorcycles and riders, we will offer you entrance tickets for the weekend of April 15, story so you can see and listen to people like Giacomo Agostini or Johnn Zarco among many others. And hey, about Johann Zarco…

Gift #5: The MotoGP Grands Prix will soon begin and, in collaboration with Shark, we will offer you the opportunity to follow all of Johann Zarco's races while being personally involved in them. What do you mean ? The principle is simple: Each time Johann Zarco manages to score a result fixed in advance (Top 15, Top 10, podium), you will have the opportunity to try to win a Shark Zarco Replica helmet! A way to support and encourage the most successful of our Grand Prix drivers…
All the details on this innovative Paddock-GP operation will be published very soon on your favorite site.

Gift #6: Leave us the surprise effect... and work during this season... which has not yet started! 😉

After this first year during which we made our appearance in the French-speaking media devoted to MotoGP, it is time to thank all those without whom this would not have been possible, starting with you, whose comments we always take into account. We are also grateful to the entire paddock who helps us work, starting with a certain Hervé Poncharal who, to be honest, even encouraged us to launch Paddock-GP, with his very direct language: “go ahead guys, put your c….. on the table and get started, you have the skills! ».
But also all other Team managers, drivers, press officers, technicians, mechanics, photographers, foreign journalists, etc. the information of which we relay here with their consent.

A word also for our partners who took the risk of believing in us even though we did not exist publicly: Tech3 Classic, GIVI, Yamaha , Barracuda, Carole circuit, SRC, Shark et Bering. As you can see, here again we only work with leading contacts. Thanks to them !

In conclusion, after this first year of running-in without much resources other than passion, we will do everything to ensure that Paddock-GP evolves continuously this year in order to best satisfy the enthusiasts that you are, while of course maintaining our news feed , our exclusive interviews and debriefings, our technical sections, photos, people and even rumors.

Thank you for your support and, if you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to come and meet us in the Grand Prix paddock.
